What is the benefit of the Roaming Rewards Program of Mobitel?
You can earn frequent flier miles or points from leading airline and hotel partners while you are roaming with Mobitel. Miles or points earned as a result of your roaming usage will be credited directly on your account from your airline or hotel program. These miles or points can be redeemed into free airline tickets, hotel stays or any other goods or services. In order to earn miles or points you only need to register once. In addition, you can register up to three additional phone numbers to your account on which you can earn miles or points. These may be mobile numbers of your spouse, friends, family or colleagues. It is required that the additional mobile phone numbers are also from Mobitel. Miles or points earned as a result of the use by those mobile phones will also be credited to your account.

How can I earn points ?
You can earn miles or points in any country as long as you make use of your mobile phone abroad.
You could view the list of countries and networks by logging on to www.roamingrewards.com
You will be receiving 1 mile or point for each minute of roaming calls that you initiate (Outgoing call), whether national or international calls
You will be receiving 1 mile or point for every 2 SMS (text message) you initiate and 3 miles or points for each MB of GPRS or 3G useage.

Which airline or hotel partners are participating in Mobitel Roaming Rewards Program?
You can redeem your rewards at any of the following airline or hotel partner: SriLankan Airlines, Thai Airways, Malaysia Airlines, Air France/KLM, Hilton, Marriott, InterContinental Hotel Group, Royal Brunei Airlines, Qatar Airways, Brussels Airlines, TAP Portugal, Ukraine International Airlines, Oman Air, Etihad Airways, Gulf Air, Lufthansa, Northwest Airlines, Delta Airlines, and AeroSvit Airlines.

Can I earn miles or points with the service if I am already registered for another loyalty program with the Roaming Rewards Program of Mobitel?
No. You can only earn miles or points with one loyalty program at a given time. If you wish to earn loyalty points on a different loyalty programme you will be required to change the respective programme at that point of time. You may change your selected programme each time you travel.

Yes, both post paid and pre-paid users can earn roaming rewards.

How do I register?
You can enroll online at www.roamingrewards.com. If you would like to enroll online choose your preferred loyalty program on the website of the programme you wish to earn miles or points when making use of your mobile phone abroad. It is required that you are an existing member of any of the associated loyalty program of Mobitel Roaming Rewards Program (refer question no. 2 above for the list) and that you have a mobile phone number from Mobitel.

No, there are no additional costs involved in order to earn miles or points.

How long does it take before I receive my miles or points?
It takes up to 45 days after the month in which your calls eligible for rewards were made before your miles or points are credited on your account.

How can I see if my rewards are credited on my account?
You can view your account balance with your airline or hotel loyalty program. Your rewards earned with Mobitel Roaming Rewards Program will be credited on your account under the name "Travelling Connect".

What should I do if I did not receive my miles or points?
Please check first your account balance with your loyalty program. Your rewards will be credited on your account under the name “Travelling Connect”. Note as well that it may take up to 45 days after the month in which your calls eligible for rewards were made before your miles or points are credited to the account balance with your chosen loyalty program.
